What to Expect During Your Visit

Your new patient visit will begin with a tour of the office. Our welcoming staff will provide home-care instructions and a dental hygiene take-home bag. If needed, your dentist will take dental x-rays and our registered dental hygienist will perform a routine cleaning. Your dentist will then provide a comprehensive oral exam, discuss findings, and make any recommendations for your dental hygiene.

Taking the first steps toward orthodontic treatment is an exciting time in every patient’s smile journey. The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends bringing in your child for their first orthodontic consultation by age seven. Early orthodontic treatment allows our orthodontists to tackle any potential issues while your child’s jaw and mouth are still developing.

Our orthodontists are specially trained to identify and treat potential issues in growing mouths through orthodontic treatment. During this initial appointment, your child’s orthodontist will outline a full action plan, giving you the full scope of the future of their orthodontic treatment.
